Compatibility table between PhotoScore Professional/Ultimate and Sibelius versions:

Ensure you have at least Sibelius v3.1.3 or G7 v3.3 installed.

No known problems, although we always recommend using the latest free minor updates Sibelius and Neuratron release from time-to-time.

PhotoScore's Send to Sibelius button is not available, therefore it is necessary to save .opt files from PhotoScore's File menu and open these from Sibelius's File menu. The PhotoScore Ultimate 6 upgrade solves this problem.

PhotoScore Professional 4

Ensure you have Sibelius v3.1.3 or G7 v3.3 installed. You must use the 'Send to Sibelius/G7' feature as Sibelius/G7 3 will not open files saved to disc by PhotoScore 4. Sibelius/G7 3 will not read percussion staves or scores containing more than 2 voices. Sibelius users: It is also recommended that customers upgrade to Sibelius 6 to take advantage of improved importing capabilities.

Ultimate 5 & 6

Sibelius/G7 3 will only open files saved to disc by PhotoScore 5/6 if 'PhotoScore for Sibelius/G7 3' is chosen as the file type in the save dialog. Sibelius/G7 3 will not read percussion staves or scores containing more than 2 voices. Nor will it read coda, segno, repeat endings, ornaments, pedal on/off markings or cross-staff notes. Sibelius users: It is also recommended that customers upgrade to Sibelius 6 to take advantage of improved importing capabilities.

Ensure you have Sibelius v4.1.5 installed. Sibelius 4 will only open files saved to disc by PhotoScore 5/6 if 'PhotoScore for Sibelius 4' is chosen as the file type in the save dialog. Sibelius 4 will not read coda, segno, repeat endings, ornaments, pedal on/off markings or cross-staff notes. It is also recommended that customers upgrade to Sibelius 6 to take advantage of other improved importing capabilities.
